It is with much shame and humiliation that I confess to you, my dear friends, that today I have dishonored myself by violating my own principles. Today... I gave money to Apple.

It turns out that my morals (as morals tend to) have had a price. My price was an iphone.

if your contacts are on the sim card of your old phone it's easy. turn off your iphone, pop out the sim and replace with your old one. go to settings, contacts etc. and there's and option to import from sim. bam you are done. turn off and put old sim in. this works even if your other phone was from a different carrier. the iphone doesn't care, it just won't get on the cell network.

i let it import my gmail contacts.

it didn't import my 120 *contacts* ... it imported my 605 "suggested contacts"... unfortunately, it seems i have to delete them one at a time...

tho i can prolly do some sort of full-reset.

i'm going to ignore this for a little while and fiddle with music and video
