Just found the best kid dentist ever! And she's female AND black AND she didn't shame Winnie for having crappy teeth. Holy cow it's a great practice.

Please someone tell me what to do with the small girl-child's hair. It is white blond, super dry, and has big loose natural spiral curls. However, we live in a super dry desert, and despite no shampoo, conditioning with good conditioner, etc, it's still a constant lion's mane. She HATES having it brushed or combed in or out of the tub. I should never complain that I'm bored... Winnie's butt just exploded poop all over the inside of our van at a truckstop on the edge of the Western KS/ Colorado border. Awesome! That should smell nice for the next 12 hours...

Okay, I am opening the floor back up to cargo bike suggestions. The Madsen just wasn't right I couldn't get past the complete lack of customer service

Zhara has a new bike. We drove all over last night looking, but she finally fell in love with one she saw in the classifieds in a tiny bike shop up in Ogden (about 1 1/2 hours north) so we drove up there and got it. I hate that my house is covered in boxes and my children are out of control, but I'm trying to make peace with it. Most days my children make me cry, but I'm working through it. Angus has hit the very violent phase of autism and it's fucking hard that it corresponds to us being in a new place and Adam working lots.

The packers are here. I have run non-stop for 4 weeks and now I am just sitting here and that seems REALLY weird. The dogs are going crazy. Plus, the have to be in the backyard and it is drizzling, so they are pissed, but they will survive. -
