I have the perpetual post three kids, post c-section too much skin, too much fat belly, complete with slight apron overhang that makes me look perpetually 4 months pregnant. OMG, I just booked. I can cancel without penalty up to 45 days in advance. Combo of nerves and knowing while Adam will be flustered with me, that he will also be really excited. Also got travel insurance.

I need creative mama help, please. Angus has to take something starting with the letter "u" for show in tell today at preschool. He does not want to take an umbrella or a unicorn. I need ideas, quick. Preschool starts at noon. Thank you.

I am almost for sure I have another case of strep. So I get to fit a trip to urgent care into this already insane day. And I'm taking Angus, too, as I am sure he is my carrier. I wish I had time to have my tonsils out. Fuck it needs to happen. Got to go to soccer now.

I called Adam crying at 10 am about how horrible I felt. He came home from work. I slept from 10:30 until 2:30 and now he's off picking up Zhara from school and I am considering whether I feel too crappy to take a shower. Entirely possible, but it would be nice. Neti pot has stopped working - nothing will flow through at all, even with Mucinex. ( Read more... ) -

My belly is so round from the combo of gaining back the weight and period bloat that I swear I look pregnant. Damn. Too bad I like food so much, otherwise I might be able to lose some weight. I need to learn to be okay with it, as I have realized that I am about 200% happier and nicer when I get to eat what I want vs. when I'm on a diet. jemimabean's post ( Read more... )
