I was really creeped out by the tag team questioning. I love to hate people who act so respectful when in reality they're snakes. And yay for Kenshin making his entrance. I imagined him exclaiming "Oro?"

I was having a completely bitchy day (up until 3:30 trying to help a friend get out of his sketchy, scary apartment and then having to slog through the snow to work 'cause it's storming...) and started checking my fanfics and webcomics. Not expecting much (it's that kind of day) to say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. WELCOME BACK!!!!!!! That being said, this is an awesome chapter. We get some of Megumi's background AND we get to see her kicking butt a little. Good luck with the next bit!

Weeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeee! :DDD I KNEW you'd updated when I saw your comment reply! You always reply to comments when you update. ^^ I was scrolling through my friendslist's latest updates like "C'mon, c'mon..." and then I caught sight of RK-ish words and you should've seen me, I clapped my hands like a demented circus seal. XD Haha.

Now to the story... WHYYYY did it have to eeeend? ;__; I really wanna know why Megumi slapped Kenshin... I hope that's not one of those things I'm supposed to have picked up from hints, because I'm rubbish at reading into things. (I was actually quite surprised when Ron and Hermione got together in the Harry Potter books. LAWL.) Not to mention that I've forgotten a lot of what came before this... though I read the Charlotte Sometimes bit again recently because that's my favourite. <3 Anyway, unlike most people I can't really think of times when Kenshin deserves to be slapped and isn't, though I'm not that far through the manga - I got volume 15 for Christmas. I suppose he deserved a slap when he left Kaoru

All Hail, Whiteadelphi! Thank you so much for this update *getting my fix on the RK kingdom addiction*

Wonderful writing as always; I'm not sure where it feels forced, but I was creeped out by the tag team approach - trained by Aoshi no less..and Megumi slap,.. after the interrogation, I would have too, he's the safest person to slap when you just need to hit someone badly, and seeing that he's partly the cause, that works too.

I sure hope what you said is true, that it won't be a long time before the next update *prays to GOD to hold writer's block and RL issues*. In the meantime, I'll survive but barely..*drama queen*

Btw, thanks a lot for dropping and friending me at DA. It was a nice surprise ^_^.
