Has anyone had much to do with Google Desktop?
Because of my involvement with the Globe I need to use the Google Calendar, and by far the easiest way to do that is using Google Desktop. All well and good, it seems like a pretty kick-ass program.
The second thing that comes to mind though is the potential security issues involved with the indexing it ( Read more... ) -

So Labor has put out their version of industrial relations laws, "Forward with Fairness" as they call it.
I've only had a brief look through it so far but it looks like a big step up from Howard's version, and certainly the ACTU thinks a lot better of it than they did of the original policy, although they've still got some problems with it which I ( Read more... ) -

So Your Rights at Work is doing an online petition protesting the industrial relations laws that were brought in this time last year. Normally I wouldn't bother with online petitions but when it comes to the IR laws I really feel obligated to participate, and if they get over 7,000 signatures the ACTU President Sharan Burrow will fly to Sydney to ( Read more... ) -
