Me too! (I need more adult friends anyway! Until now, most of my LJ friends were actually my daughter's friends. It's great that many of them think of me as "Second Mom," but I yearn to talk with adults!

Same as the above, saw you friended me and friended you back. I don't get why people complain about you adding them. If people have public journals they should expect people they don't know to read it, and the LJ website encourages looking at random people's journals with the "Recent Public Posts" section of this page http://www.livejournal.com/site/search.bml

What I find funny is the fact that on a public forum, no one has a problem with meeting anonymous new people. But on this website, people for some reason get all paranoid - "omg, he must be spying on me, stalking me, because I'm clearly worth that kind of attention" is what I assume everyone thinks.

Finally, you apparently have 702 friends listed, so it's pretty obvious you don't read many, if any of the journals on your friends page, so there really is no reason in people being worried about you prying into their "private" lives ( ... )

I try to read as much as possible, but obviously, it's an impossible task, so i read and comment only selected ones, and differ them every day.
