Long time coming update....
So, things are progressing well in general with the Search For A Cat for Mom. It won't be a Kitten though. (thank gods - i think she would have tolerated a kitten for a week and gone mad). I've been dealing with the people from PAWS Toronto = Peoples Animal Welfare Society. Very very nice people. (site is under construction but should be up ( Read more... ) -

Finally got around to reducing the size of some of the photos of the Solstice festival in Kensington. Our connection at home has also been whacked - so I felt very lucky that I was able to finally ftp these up. A few of them were lurking on my hard drive since last week, waiting to get out...

Rain. Amount 20 to 30 mm. Wind northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 except gusting to 70 near the lake.
Wind becoming southwest 30 gusting to 60 late this afternoon.43mph or so... feels about right. I'd say with the windtunnel effect around these parts of the city makes it alot worse ( Read more... ) -
