For someone as peripatetic as I am, I sure do get attached to the places I live. I've been in this tiny studio for almost two years now. It's gorgeous in the late spring and early fall, with a massive patio that's perfect for small dinner parties.

On the main page click "Login with OpenID" and then use [your username].livejournal.com as your login. After that, validate an email.
I believe that after Apr 30, all validated OpenID accounts will get an invite code. Here is a list of other ways to get a full Dreamwidth account.

For those of you who haven't heard, there's a new LJ-style player in town called Dreamwidth.org, and I honestly think they're going to be successful. Their platform is based on the LJ codebase, and all the changes they've made are available under an Open Source license.
