A fond memory.

It snowed last night and the landscape looks sooo beautiful--but I can't go skiing right now, for several reasons...  One of which is posted here.  Not too much sympathy, please--I'm healing great.

Did I mention I can't go skiing?  Sigh.  So I sated myself today by writing out a fond memory... a favorite daydream.  Here it is:

Oh, that's a great daydream to have while recuperating! And while feeling that elated sense of bliss, that wonderful high you'd get in the middle of this, why not send a thought to your clavicle and beam a ray of happiness and love to the affected area and to your body who's doing magnificent repair work? Doing EFT on your healing wouldn't be a bad idea either... *g* Happy healing!

Lol, my favorite yoga teacher used to tell me, "You need to love your shoulder..." and then he'd hug himself to give the visual. I believed him! My poor shoulders see a lot of abuse. I'm treating it like a Most Important Body Part at the mo'. I should probably sit down and think about it, like you mention. Thanks for reading!

*sigh* A lovely day dream.

Now to the photo, you'd take that drop on XC's??? You're a better man than me!

Ah, you see you're a lot fancier in the sport than I. I learned to XC in my teens, then switched to downhill in my 20s and never looked back. I need the speed!

Fun daydream! I especially love your description of the rooster tail. I can visualize the whole thing.

I wish you a speedy recovery, so you can get back out on those skis soon.

I'm glad it was vivid. It was a fun day with good friends, so it was hard not to want to put it down on paper eventually. : ) Thanks for reading.

So sorry to hear about the clavicle! Best wishes for thorough and speedy healing.

Thanks for sharing your lovely daydream with such vivid imagery. The glee that you describe is almost enough to make me forget how much I hate deep powder, heh. (New England skiier here. ;) )

Ha, we have two New England skiers--well, originally--living in this house. New England skiing really keeps you on your toes! But I can't say I'd ever want to trade back. Oops! I let that slip.

Thanks for the healing wishes. : )
