I built a LAZER GFP DETECTOR!!! But now I have to align it. Manually. This wouldn't be so bad except that there is a total of three free standing lenses and four mirrors between the beam source and the pick-up scope. One of the kids I've met here is a UC student named Ben. He is probably one of the best people I've ever been fortunate enough to know. It restores my soul to realize that there actually ARE humans with this much energy, this much genuine kindness and this much to offer the world still around.
