Does anybody read Livejournal anymore?
I was thinking of blogging something today...to get back into it. I haven't logged onto Livejournal in a very long time. I can't figure out how to find any friend's journals that I used to read, and I wonder, does anybody use this anymore. Let me know if you do! -

It has been awhile.
It has been 63 weeks since I updated my livejournal. WOW! How fast a year can go. It's strange, but I've had plenty of things to contemplate on here, plenty of things to praise, and plenty of things to complain/vent about the past year. Quarter of a million dollars!?
A Cyclone kills at least 22 thousand people in Myanmar, there are at least 44 thousand still missing, the rice fields have been destroyed, and boats and rescue vehicles have been destroyed. Today in church..
So...today is communion Sunday. To say that the failure of General Conference wasn't on my mind would be a lie. When I saw the pastor this morning, all I had to do was look at her and she said, "They want us to leave the church. That's what they want. So we need to stay." Homosexuality and the UMC
I've been listening to the General Conference of the United Methodist Church online. I'm hooked. This morning was the first time I've seen any discussion about homosexuality and the Church.
