Ooh. I remember reading something from this verse and loving it. I'm really glad to see you're continuing it. :)
I love the dynamic and interaction between the characters (and that Dean and Castiel have a 'profound bond' from, what I gather, first meeting - I would love to read that (the first meeting) btw. )

I AM a little confused about the order of the verse, though. Oh, I know you don't write chronically but perhaps you should consider writing a Masterpost?! The drabbles would be easier to find, too... :)

The order of the verse is this:

But I will be sure to write a masterpost now. I didn't know it was needed since my chapters are so horribly short, but I reckon I have enough readers now that it's pertinent I get one up.

I do intend on writing how Dean and Cas actually met, but the next chapter is either a continuiation to ch.3 (when Dean gets sick) or I'm writing about the boys in their late twenties, hunting and being caught by Henrickson for the first time.
As you can see, I'm indesicive.

Okay, first I just want to say that I live in Macomb, IL right now, and I greatly appreciate the fact that John got rid of the ghost at our train station. Now if he would come back and get rid of the one in Simpkins Hall...

That aside, this is adorable! Little Cas is so on-the-dot, proper and awkward, and Dean is very much his boisterous self. Love this 'verse.

Whenever I went to write this chapter, I pulled up a map of Macomb and said 'THERE. THAT TRAIN TRACK LOOKS SUSPICIOUS.' and then thought to myself 'what if someone's actually FROM Macomb..... nawwwwwwwwwwwww' *derpwrites*
I hope I was vague enough about the place that the details I DID have weren't off too much.

I just filled in my own places, like the Star Motel for where the Winchesters were staying (which is seedy enough in its own right) and the Macomb Family Diner for where they at lunch. I'd say you did a pretty good job at being vaguely specific enough. And it's nice to see my boring little town get some love. :-P

This is so adorable. I love little Dean and Cas (and baby Sammy, too, though he's not too much of a big presence here), but especially watching John melt when faced with poor little Cas.

I think anyone with a heart, would have theirs melting at little Cas.
