Due to a series of unfortunate events it transpires that I'll be in Boston tomorrow. I figure I'll drop by the sipb meeting and maybe go to Mary's for dinner (if she's open this week?).

It seems I've lost contact addresses for many of my Bostonian acquaintances and this seems like it's the most effective way of reaching you.

2010 was kind of a drop in travel with nearly no non-work European site-seeing or any exotic destinations. Maybe 2011 will be different.

In the past couple weeks I flew LHR-SIN and spent a long weekend in Singapore. Went to a party, ate lots of amazing food, slowly absorbed the fact that I was in Asia. He accurately described the problems we're seeing today in his 2002 Chairman's Letter (search for "Derivatives" on page 13).
