Right now I'm re-reading "The Worthing Saga" by Orson Scott Card on my subway ride to and from work. This may be my favorite book by him, though I haven't read it since highschool. I've found choosing the right book for subway reading to be difficult, because if you are not careful you may end up missing your stop. You need a book that captures ( Read more... )

So far we're still loving Brooklyn, though this has been one cold, nasty, icy winter (other than this last week, which has been gorgeous). I just read the Newsweek article on Gay Marriage (which you can look up should you wish to read it-I’m too lazy to post the little blue thing here). As far as I am concerned, Thanksgiving starts the holiday season (which will conclude somewhere between January 1-12, depending on how you feel about Three Kings Day). I've been sick since Sunday night. This is depressing me because while I strongly approve of Master Wilkins' form of self-medication, I personally find that drinking while sick (or allergic) leads me to sneeze.
