the dominican republic! it's gorgeous, the beaches are unbelievable, as is the food. and my mom's family is there. :)

So far? Roatan. But I feel that to properly answer your question accurately, I must experience every Caribbean destination and report back in full.

Kate and I really liked St. John. No passport required, beautiful secluded beaches, most of the island is a national park, and you hit up St. Thomas if you want the touristy nightlife.

Barbados is one of the places that I've only been once but that I loved so thoroughly that I keep wanted to go back. The only think keeping me is that they don't have the "all inclusive" options as easily as other places, but i feel like that's one of the great things about it. You can find a cute little resort to stay in close to the "city" and with access to tons of activities without feeling like you're surrounded by people.
