“Jaejoong…can I have your muffin?” Changmin asked as he eyed the chocolate muffin on Jaejoong’s plate.

“Haven’t you already eaten three?” Jaejoong asked with a slightly annoyed look, his hand coming out to shield his defenseless muffin.

“If you really cared about me, you’d give me that muffin.” Changmin stated, sinking back into the cafeteria chair with a melodramatic sigh.

“Are you going to eat that?” Yunho suddenly asked, his gaze fixed on Jaejoong’s muffin with a look of greed. Yunho, as usual those days, had been off in his own little world enjoying his breakfast when Jaejoong’s tantalizing muffin had caught his eye.

“Of course not, you can have it, Yunnie.” Jaejoong sighed as he placed the muffin on Yunho’s plate.

“You’re evil, Hyung.” Changmin growled with a dark glare towards Jaejoong. “Giving your pregnant husband food that will make him fatter.” Changmin stressed the last word, watching as Yunho’s head shot in his direction.

“Fatter? Am I fat?” Yunho questioned in a muffled voice as he stuffed more food into his mouth.

“Of course-”

“You are.” Changmin cut in, smirking over at Jaejoong. Revenge was sweet.

“This is all your fault!” Yunho growled as he pointed an accusatory finger at Jaejoong. “If it hadn’t been for you, I wouldn’t be as giant as a whale right now!” Yunho groaned, sinking back into his chair with a strangled sob.
“I used to be so beautiful! Now look at me!”

“Oh I wish I had a video camera right now.” Changmin chuckled, trying his best to hold back his full bout of laughter.

“My fault!” Jaejoong shot back, his eyebrows arching slightly, “it’s your own fault for refusing to have children with me. Karma came back around and kicked you in the butt!”

“Oh, I see how it is! You knock me up and then shrug off all the responsibility…” Yunho trailed off his eyes growing larger as a thought struck him. “Are you cheating on me? Is that why you hate me so much?” He sobbed, drawing stares from the people around him.

“Sh…Shhhhh, Yunho! Please just relax. I’m not cheating on you, I love you more than anyone else in this world.”

“That’s not what you said last night.” Changmin just couldn’t resist the urge to throw Jaejoong under the bus. It was just so much fun to watch him flail around like a fish out of water.

“Shut up, shut up, shut up!” Jaejoong growled as he smacked Changmin on the shoulder three times. He couldn’t stand how his dongseng provoked Yunho like that.

“Hey, that could be considered abuse.” Changmin pouted as he rubbed his shoulder lightly.

“You’re not a baby, Changmin! I’m allowed to hit you!” Jaejoong fired back as he tried to quiet Yunho’s loud sobs.

“Cheating on me with one of the members! With Changmin! How could he like Changmin?” Yunho sobbed, drawing even more attention to their table.

“Hey, what’s wrong with me?” Changmin growled, shooting at glare towards Yunho.

“Is there a problem, boys?” DBSK’s doctor questioned as he strolled up to the table, his eyes twinkling with a look of amusement.

“Could you sow his mouth shut?” Jaejoong asked whilst turning a dark glare on Changmin. “He can’t seem to control himself these days.”

“I can never “control myself” when you’re around, Jae-Hyung.” He purred in a seductive voice, sending Yunho into another round of loud sobbing.

“Please tell me it’s time for our check-up.” Jaejoong pleaded with the doctor, his hand still rubbing over Yunho’s back.

“Not quite. I still have a few things that need to get done before your check-up. I just wanted to let you know that Yoochun and Junsu will be discharged today.” The elderly doctor patted Changmin’s head, drawing a sour look from the younger boy.

“Yoochun and Junsu will be discharged today?” Yunho breathed, his head coming off the table and his tears stopping immediately.
“Oh that’s awesome!” He smiled over and Jaejoong, his eyes shining brightly. “We should go see them, don’t you think?”

“Sure…” Jaejoong trailed off, his voice lackluster, “…let’s go see them.”

“I’ll go with you.” Changmin commented as he stood from his chair and picked his tray up off the table.

“Ha, why don’t you go see Yoochun while we go see Junsu?” Jaejoong suggested as he began to steer Yunho out of the lunch room.

“Your attitude is hardly conducive to group “togetherness”, Hyung.” Changmin commented with a shake of his head before he turned to through away the trash on his tray.

=------------------------------------=

“Do you know what you did before passing out, Yoochun-hyung?” Changmin asked casually as he strolled into Yoochun’s hospital room.

“What did I do?” Yoochun asked, his eyes clouding slightly.

“You very nearly made it impossible for me to have children.” Changmin exaggerated with a dark glare. “I still have to pay you back for that.”

“Ha, that one was on the house. Don’t worry about paying me back.” Yoochun laughed slightly, trying to hide his smile by sinking further into his bed.

“I have a theory.” Changmin confided easily as he took a seat next to Yoochun’s bed.

“Do I really want to know what it is?” Yoochun questioned back, seeming slightly worried.

“I was thinking,” Changmin went on, ignoring Yoochun’s words, “that the best way to lift Junsu’s spirits would be to have Super Junior over. He and Eunhyuk haven’t seen each other since we left Japan.”

“That actually sounds like a good idea.” Yoochun affirmed, a slight smile pulling on his lips.

“Of course it’s a good idea, I suggested it.” Changmin shot back at Yoochun with a smirk.

“Why do I get the feeling that there’s something else behind this?” Yoochun asked with a wary look, eyes narrowing as he studied Changmin’s face.

“It hurts that you would think me so conniving.” Changmin sighed, schooling his features into a pained look.

“I don’t see why it should hurt you. The whole group knows for a fact that you’re a conving son of a bitch.” Yoochun retorted without mercy, knowing that his words wouldn’t cause Changmin any hurt feelings. Even through Changmin’s sarcastic and childish act, Yoochun could see that the younger male was wise beyond his years. It often baffled him when Changmin acted so flippant and carefree. Yoochun knew that the ohter male cared deeply for all the other members, so that made him wonder why Changmin offered such a façade to everyone around him.
“Can I ask you something?”

“You just did.” Changmin pointed out with a smirk.

“Okay, well if I ask you something, will you look at it seriously?” Yoochun pressed, his eyebrows arching slightly.

“Of course.” Changmin responded, his smirk fading off his lips as he became serious.

“Why do you hide behind sarcasm?” Yoochun asked bluntly, not seeing any other way to start the conversation.

Changmin opened his mouth as if to say something, his dark eyes serious, “I wouldn’t say it’s hiding.” He began slowly, seeming to think over his words, “It’s more for protection against myself.”

“What?” Yoochun shook his head slightly, not understanding what Changmin was saying. “Care to explain that vague answer?” He prompted, already very interested.

“I don’t know if there’s really a way for me to put this without sounding…crazy.” Changmin replied, a half smile pulling at his lips.

“Oh, I’m all over crazy these days, lay it on me.” Yoochun joked, making light of his break-down of two days ago.

“Imagine if you loved Junsu with your entire heart.”

“I do love Junsu with my entire heart.” Yoochun cut in with a dark glare.

“I mean something beyond that. Something so much deeper!” Changmin gestured with his hands, digging for the right words. “Imagine if you and Junsu were so deeply connected, it was as if your very souls had meshed together and become one.”

“Okay. I’m still confused.” Yoochun responded with a slight smile, his mind trying to make sense of what Changmin was saying.

“If you would stop cutting me off, the explaining might go a bit smoother.” Changmin growled, his eyes narrowing in a glare.

“Okay,” Yoochun held up his hands, “no more cutting you off. Promise.” He held up his pinky to Changmin. Changmin ignored it.

“Anyway, imagine now that Junsu and you had to be separated because your lives were leading in different directions. You still had that deep connection, but fate just wasn’t working in your favor.” Changmin sank back into his chair, his eyes flickering out the window on the north wall. “Imagine if that connection didn’t fade no matter how far away you got from Junsu…no matter who else you met. Imagine living while knowing that there is someone you love, who loves you just as much, out there living their own life.” Changmin’s face fell, his eyes clouding over slightly.
“Love can be painful if not bestowed upon and received from the person whom you love. I’ve found ways to keep my heart from bleeding for him…from longing for him. Everything I do…all the faces I show and people I ignore…is done because I’m trying to run away from an undying love.” Changmin finished in a soft voice, his youthful face seeming drawn and haggard.

“Who are you talking about?” Yoochun questioned, utterly shocked at Changmin’s words. He didn’t have the slightest clue as to who the other boy was talking about.

“Haneul. Park Haneul.” Changmin responded as if Yoochun were asking a stupid question.

“Who?”

“The person you met on the boat during the cruise!” Changmin growled, sighing as if burdened by Yoochun’s lack of memory.

“Her!” Yoochun gasped, his eyes widening with surprise.

“Him.” Changmin corrected in a dark voice, his eyes narrowing into a glare.

“Er, right…” Yoochun trailed off, blinking rapidly as he tried to wrap his mind around the information Changmin had given him.
“So the guy you totally ignored on the boat is supposedly the person whose soul has “meshed” with your own?” Yoochun questioned in a slightly confused voice. He didn’t see how Changmin could feel so deeply for someone and then just brush them off like that.

“At the time, I acted like I didn’t know him because all of you were around.” Changmin sighed, brushing a hand through his hair. “I found him later, though.”

“Oh! Details!” Yoochun commanded, eyes growing large at the thought of a good story.

“We just talked.” Changmin growled, eyes narrowing in a glare. “Unlike you, I can go five minutes without dragging the person I love into the nearest bedroom.”

“Sure. That explains the videos.” Yoochun shot back with a smirk, matching Changmin glare for glare.

“I thought we were trying to have a serious talk, Hyung.” Changmin growled, ignoring the older male’s last comment.

“Serious talk?” Jaejoong questioned as he stepped into the room. “Serious cannot be used in conjunction with Changmin’s name.”

“Hello Doctor.” Changmin called past Jaejoong, ignoring his hyung’s comment.

“Hello, Changmin.” The doctor returned with a fond smile before he walked to the side of Yoochun’s bed, his eyes raking over a clipboard.
“It looks as if you’re ready to leave, Yoochun…” He trailed off as he marked a few things on the clipboard.
“As far as Junsu goes, just make sure he has the medication on time and that there isn’t anything too stressful going on.” He finished with a comforting pat to Yoochun’s arm.
“Oh,” he paused and pulled something out of the pocket of his lab-coat, “these are for you. It’s a stronger dosage of the medication you were on. It should also help you sleep.”

“How did you know I haven’t been sleeping?” Yoochun questioned, baffled.

“I’m a doctor,” he stated whilst tapping the side of his head, “I know everything.”

Yunho gave an amused laugh as he pulled Jaejoong into his arms, “this might be bad for our career guys.” He stated before nuzzling Jaejoong’s neck.

“Stop it, Yunho.” Jaejoong snapped, sighing as he wiggled away from his husband’s grasp.

“Ah, I believe that is my cue to begin your check-up.” The doctor stated with an amused chuckle, “it would seem things aren’t going so well in paradise.”

“What idiot called pregnancy paradise?” Jaejoong growled in a moody voice as he crossed his arms over his chest to fend off the attacking Yunho.

“My point exactly.” The doctor chuckled as he led the two men out of the room and down the hall.

“Why are doctors always so cryptic?” Jaejoong shook his head slightly, pushing Yunho away from him.

“Now then,” the doctor began as he led the two into an examination room, “if you would please have a seat, Yunho, we can begin.” He gestured towards on examination table as he busied himself about the room.

“Doctor,” Jaejoong whispered as he stepped closure to the elderly man, “I was…uh…wondering if I could ask you something.” He whispered in a low voice, casting a glance at the oblivious Yunho sitting on the examination bed.

“You may ask me anything you wish. I can’t promise answer, but I’ll do my best.” He responded in a friendly tone, his eyes twinkling as if he already knew what Jaejoong was going to say.

“Does pregnancy kill your…sex-drive?” He breathed, his eyes flickering form Yunho to the doctor with an embarrassed look.

“In some pregnancies it will; however, in others, the sex-drive can sometimes double, if not more, over the course of the pregnancy.” The elderly man stated easily as he filled a syringe with a dark looking liquid.

“Is there any way to stop it from doubling?” Jaejoong questioned, a feeling of embarrassment spreading throughout his body.

“Are you having some complications?” The doctor asked with a kind smile towards Jaejoong.

“Yes!” Jaejoong groaned as he raked his fingers through his hair. “It seems like he’s all over me all day! I swear I’m going to go crazy if he doesn’t stop trying to seduce me!” The leader singer’s voice dropped to a depressed groan.
Yunho had literally been driving Jaejoong crazy over the last few days. Anytime Jaejoong was in the kitchen Yunho would come up behind him and pin him against the counter-top. He’d tried, and failed, more than once to seduce Jaejoong into having sex on the kitchen floor. Thankfully Jaejoong had enough control to push away his husband. It would have been beyond embarrassing to have the other members walk in on them.
Sadly, for Jaejoong, Yunho’s “attention” didn’t just end in the kitchen. It reared its head almost every night, no matter how tired the two were, Yunho would always cuddle up to Jaejoong in an innocent manner before beginning to kiss and lick his way over his body. At first Jaejoong hadn’t minded, he’d even been slightly pleased that Yunho was still interested in sex; however, when Yunho’s new found drive began to cause him to lose sleep and worry constantly about Yunho groping him in public, the lead singer had decided to mention it to the doctor.

“Hm, well I suppose if it’s really that bad, I could give him something for it.” The doctor responded with a soft smile, his eyes slightly amused. “It seems like most young couples wouldn’t mind this boost in sex-drive…” The doctor trailed off, his words hanging in the air should Jaejoong choose to respond to them.

“I know, it’s just that we don’t have a lot of time on our hands, and I can’t have him trying to jump me whenever he gets the chance. Besides that, I’ve already lost enough sleep from his morning-sickness and insomnia; I don’t need this to make me lose even more.” Jaejoong sighed as he leaned his hip against the tan counter-top.

“Alright then, I’ll kill the sex-drive.”

“No, no, you don’t have to kill it…just make it more…controlled.” Jaejoong blushed, turning his gaze away from the doctor. He didn’t exactly want to be deprived of his Yunho for the few months of pregnancy that were left.

“Ah, controlled. I understand.” The doctor chuckled softly before he turned to Yunho with a bright smile. “How have you been feeling lately? Any new aches or pains or anything that is concerning you?”

“Nope.” Yunho responded, popping his lips at the ‘P’ whilst shaking his head. “I’ve been just dandy lately.”

“Fantastic.” The doctor chuckled as he prepped Yunho for a shot. “Jaejoong tells me that you’ve been quite frisky lately…” The doctor trailed off as he position the needle and slid it into Yunho’s arm.

“No more than usual.” Yunho responded, seemingly unfazed by the doctor’s blunt words.

“How embarrassing.” Jaejoong groaned as he turned his back on Yunho and rested his head against one of the cabinets that lined the small room.

=-------------------------------------------=

“Can one of you please get the door?” Jaejoong growled as he stirred the soup on the stove. He had been in the midst of preparing a warm meal for Yoochun and Junsu when multiple hands had started knocking on the door. He already knew who it was just by the exuberant voices coming in through the closed door.

“Door’s unlocked!” Changmin called from the living room, too engulfed by his PSP to go to the door.

Within seconds of his words the door burst open and a cacophony of noise spilled into the apartment as Super Junior members called out greetings.

“Hey, Jaejoong.” Siwon called easily, his voice softer than the rest of his exuberant band mates.

“Hey, Siwon! How are you?” Jaejoong asked as he turned to face Siwon, a smile alighting on his face.

“I’m doing perfectly well.” The younger male replied as he stepped forward and pulled Jaejoong into a warm hug. “I’ve missed you. Seems like we haven’t talked in years.” He added in a whisper.

“I’ve missed you, too.” Jaejoong added as he wrapped his arms around Siwon’s waist.

“I think your soup is burning, Jaejoong.” Yunho’s voice cut across the roar of noise in the apartment, his words causing a hush to fall over the room as everyone turned to look at Jaejoong and Siwon.

“Oh right!” Jaejoong quickly detangled himself from Siwon’s grip, a dark blush spreading across his face as he tried not to look at Yunho.

“Always one to burn the soup.” Siwon laughed as he walked up behind Jaejoong and peered down at the boiling soup. “I don’t guess that delicious creation is for me?” He asked as he rested his chin on Jaejoong’s shoulder and pulled in a deep breath.

“No, it’s not for you.” Yunho growled, suddenly appearing at Jaejoong’s side, a dark glare aimed at Siwon.
“I would appreciate it if you didn’t touch my husband.” He added in a dark voice, his hand coming out to capture Jaejoong’s wrist.

“Yunho,” Jaejoong groaned, shaking his husbands hand off, “would you please not do this today? Can’t you just relax and not worry about me for a bit?”

“It’s not you I’m worried about, Jaejoong.” Yunho responded, his eyes never leaving Siwon.

“Yunho, come on, we’re going to watch the new movie Donghae’s been fanboying about.” Heechul called to Yunho, his voice more commanding than requesting. Alas, that was the nature of Kim Heechul.

“I’m coming.” Yunho responded instantly, turning to walk towards the waiting Heechul.

“You making everyone angry again?” The older male asked as Yunho joined him.

“No, you brat, I’m not.” Yunho shot back, his eyes narrowing in a glare.

“It’s okay, I still love you.” Heechul sighed as he wrapped his arm around Yunho’s waist and pulled him into the living room.

“Could he set more of a double-standard?” Jaejoong growled as he stomped about the kitchen banging pots and pans.

“He probably could.” Siwon responded with a soft smile as he lazily stirred the soup.
“You know it’s because he loves you enough to get jealous when just my name is mentioned.” The younger male added as he watched Jaejoong set to work on dicing a bell pepper.

“I know that he loves me, and I’m happy that he loves me enough to get jealous. But when it comes to something as stupid as my friendship with you, it just annoys me to no end!” Jaejoong growled, viciously stabbing the knife into the red-skinned pepper.

“It’s probably because he knows how much I love you.”

Jaejoong lost his grip on the knife at Siwon’s words, the sharp edge falling across his finger and slicing through the delicate skin.
The older male let out a growl of pain as he quickly turned to the sink to wash away the blood.

“I’m sorry, I probably should have waited until you didn’t have a deadly item in your hand.” Siwon commented as he came up behind Jaejoong and wrapped his arms around the older male so he could help with cleaning the cut.

“It’s…” Jaejoong swallowed loudly, trying to fight off the butterflies in his stomach, “it’s fine, I just wasn’t paying attention.” He finished in a whisper as he watched Siwon’s hands gently clear away the blood from his finger.

“It’s true though. I love you, Jaejoong.” Siwon whispered as he nuzzled Jaejoong’s neck lightly.

There was a sound at the kitchen door and Jaejoong jumped back, knocking his head into Siwon’s jaw as he hurried to free himself from the other boy’s arms.

“Siwon,” Jaejoong began after making sure no one was at the kitchen door, “it’s not that I don’t appreciate your feelings…” He trailed off, his hand reaching out and stirring the soup, as if on instinct alone.

“Jaejoong,” Siwon laughed as he rubbed his sore jaw, “I already know what you’re going to say, and you don’t need to say it. I know how much you love Yunho, and with the baby on the way, I’m sure there’s nothing I could do to tear you away from him. I wouldn’t want to anyway. Both of you are my good friends, and to see you both happy, makes me happy.” Siwon finished with a soft smile, his face showing how true his words were.

“I’m sorry, Siwon.” Jaejoong whispered, his eyes narrowing in a pained look.

“Jaejoong, I had my chance while we were in Japan not long ago. I decided then that it would be bad for us to get into a relationship. It’s better that you have Yunho.” The younger male responded as he pulled Jaejoong in for a quick hug.
“I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t hurt, but that doesn’t mean that I’m heartbroken. I'll move on after I’ve had some time to get over you.”

Jaejoong felt tears stinging his eyes and a sob building at the back of his throat. He knew from personal experience how painful it was to love someone that didn’t love them back. His tearful reaction was a bit over the top, but his emotions had been haggard ever since Yunho had become pregnant. He just needed a reason for a good cry.

“I resent him so much!” Jaejoong finally sobbed into Siwon’s chest, his body trembling. “I’ve tried to tell myself that I’m happy to be getting a baby! But every time I see him I feel so jealous!” Small arms came out to encircle Siwon as Jaejoong’s emotional walls fell and he gave himself over to his frustration.
“It’s not as if I don’t love him, but it was supposed to be me with the baby! I was supposed to be the one going through all of this. Not him!” He sobbed harder, his words hardly reaching Siwon through the tear strained voice.

“Shhh, Jaejoong.” Siwon comforted, his cheek coming down to rest on the top of Jaejoong’s head. His heart throbbed painfully for the boy whom he loved; however, it wasn’t out of jealousy that he felt this, it was because it pained him to see Jaejoong denied the one thing he’d always talked about. Every since Jaejoong had married Yunho, he’d been telling Siwon how much he dreamed about having Yunho’s children. It had hurt him terribly when Yunho was the one that became pregnant, but he’d later claimed to have settled his feelings on the matter. Apparently, that had been a lie.

“I’m so tired, Siwon. I’m so worried about Junsu and Yoochun, and then Yunho . Our lives are so busy and I’m worried that one of them will get sick, or something will happen to one of the babies. I can’t take it anymore! I want someone to look after me!” He clutched tighter to Siwon, spilling all his bottled emotions into the younger boy’s chest. Jaejoong had never been a leader nor someone who acted well under pressure. He cared deeply for all his members, and wanted to take care of them. But it seemed so desolate when he didn’t have anyone there to give him a shoulder to lean on. He couldn’t support this group on his shoulders alone. He needed, wanted, and longed for Yunho.

“I don’t really know what to say, Jae-hyung.” Siwon breathed as he rubbed soothing circles along Jaejoong’s back.
“Things are this way for a reason, and I know you’re strong enough to muscle through for just a bit longer.” He added before taking a step back, his hands placed lightly on Jaejoong’s shoulders.
“The soup is done.” He added with a fond smile as he saw Jaejoong’s face brighten with shock.

“Oh no! I probably burned it!” He breathed, turning to the stove to find it off. “I thought…how did…” He trailed off, his puffy, tear-stained eyes looking confused.

“I turned it off while you were crying.” Siwon laughed as he stepped forward and brushed away the lingering tears on Jaejoong’s face.
“Why don’t you go wash your face and then come out and join the others to watch a movie?” Siwon suggested with a fond smile.

“Yeah, okay.” Jaejoong breathed as he wiped his eyes with a paper-towel. “I’ll see you in the living room.” He whispered as he made his way from the kitchen.
“By the way,” Jaejoong stopped and turned to face Siwon, “thank you for listening. It helped to have someone to lean on.” He whispered before turning and making his way out of the kitchen.

“It wasn’t a problem.” Siwon sighed after Jaejoong had left the kitchen.
“Jaejoong…” The Super Junior member sighed, his shoulders slumping and his eyes dimming as he placed his hand over his heart. “If I didn’t respect Yunho, I would have already stolen you away from him.” He confessed to the empty room, his face shadowed with guilt and sadness. “This is the kind of man I am.” He muttered sadly as he trudged from the kitchen, towards the living room.
