I sighed softly and leaned back in my chair, putting a new pack of ice on my eye. I closed my eyes slowly and tried to relax.
I can’t believe Karyu told Toshiya that, but I guess it didn’t help that the wrong name slipped. Maybe it’s a good thing we’re taking a break from each other. If things were meant to be, then our oversea vacation will be amazing and romantic.
Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. I opened an eye and glanced at the door, before pushing myself up.
“I’m coming~” I called.
I opened the door and I blinked a bit, lowering the ice pack. “Karyu-san…” I said softly.
“Asagi-san, I hope I didn’t come at a bad time,” he said, looking down some. “I brought over some soup to apologize for what happened.” He offered the warm covered bowl to me.
I accepted it and said, “Ah, arigato, Karyu-san. Anou…please come in.” I stepped aside and opened the door a little more for the other.
Karyu entered and slipped his shoes off while I went back to the living room. I sat the bowl aside and settled back in the chair, putting the ice back on my eye.
“Asagi, I-“
“Listen, you have nothing to apologize for. I shouldn’t have hidden our one night stand from him, but things aren’t completely over between us. We still have time to become closer,” I said.
“Oh, well, that’s good,” he said softly, glancing off. He sat back on the couch and looked down. “I guess things will turn out for the better, in the end.”
I put the ice down, moved from my seat, and leaned over to Karyu, letting out lips touch. He flinched away some and blinked at me as I sat next to him. I smiled softly and gave him a soft kiss.
“Asagi-san…what about Tosh-“
“Karyu-san, the reason I have this black eye is because I had you on my mind.”
“You…did?” he asked softly as I reached up and gently caressed his cheek.
“Wasn’t just the sex, but the feeling of having you close felt right,” I admitted, letting my hand hold Karyu’s loosely, “If you’re willing to me a chance, then I’l liked to move a little further.”
Karyu squeezed my hand some, looked up at me, and smiled softly. He leaned over and kissed me slowly. I put my arm around his waist loosely and carefully shifted on the couch, gradually deepening the kiss.
This definitely feels right.
