DG was standing on the steps as Wyatt came running up the walk. "Hey, Kiddo," she greeted, "how was school?" At ten-annuals-old, Wyatt simply shrugged and held up a piece of paper. "What's this?" DG asked as she took the page.

"We had to draw a picture of someplace that makes us happy," Wyatt told her with a deep breath. DG glanced at the drawing and smiled.

"Well, you do like going to the cabin," she nodded and held the page out for Wyatt to take. "Guess what," DG continued with a smile.

"What?" Wyatt asked, not taking the page. DG knelt down and set the page on the step so that she could help Wyatt out of her coat.

"Raw's back," DG said quietly. Wyatt looked up to her mother with wide eyes and DG smiled again. "Go," she nodded and turned as Wyatt moved around her and tore across the foyer. She was just past the door to the dining room when Raw appeared in the hallway and held his arms out.

"You were gone a long time," DG heard Wyatt tell the Viewer.

"Raw sorry," he said. "Raw have to talk to DG," he nodded to DG. DG nodded and Raw let go of Wyatt. Holding out the picture again, DG looked at Wyatt.

"Why don't you go show this to your dad, Kiddo." Wyatt nodded and took the page before she turned and ran toward the stairs. DG looked back to Raw and frowned. "Everything okay?" He'd been to see the Viewer elders for a while.

"Elders wish to meet Wyatt," Raw said. DG blinked.

"Why?" she asked, suddenly worried. Raw rested his hand on her arm and smiled.

"Make Wyatt part of tribe," he lied. They had no explanation for why she could see Cain. "Bless the Princess," he added.

"That's awful nice of them," she smiled. Raw hooked arm around DG's and led her down the hall.

"Raw take Wyatt to elders, bring Wyatt home," he said softly. The elders hoped that, in meeting Wyatt face-to-face, they'd sense why she could see a dead man. It wasn't that Raw doubted her - he knew she believed she saw Cain - but the whole story was a bit far-fetched.

DG stopped Raw. "You know that I trust you with my life, and my childrens'." Raw nodded. "Jeb won't let her go," DG laughed.

"DG will convince him."

Cain wasn't about to let the two of them go alone - not that he could do much if there was trouble - and he was rather surprised that Jeb actually agreed to let her go. As he was also curious to know why Wyatt could see him, Cain decided to tag along.

Raw had bundled Wyatt up in a heavy coat before they left and, once the truck traveled as far into the northern woods as the road allowed, he and Wyatt continued the rest of the distance on foot. A coatless Cain was close behind, wondering why he wasn't cold.

Inside the main hut, the elders sat off to one side, observing. Wyatt and Raw were sitting across from each other, near the central fire, with their eyes closed. Raw was giving Wyatt instructions to help her concentrate so that the elders could read her properly.

They sat and sat, only the crackling of the fire making any noise. Cain rolled his eyes, huffed and dropped down between them. "This is a waste of time," he breathed.

"Sssh," both Raw and Wyatt said. Cain snorted and held his hands to the fire, not that it did anything. Looking up, Cain saw a rather-surprised Raw, staring at him.

"Cain," Raw said in a near-whisper.

"What? Now you can see me?" Cain huffed. "And you still have no idea why, right?" he called to the rest of those in attendance. His eyes stopped on Wyatt, who was staring at him with wide eyes. "Well, I already know you can see me," he shrugged and looked back to the fire. It took a second, but he turned back to Wyatt with a frown.

"Did you shush me?" Wyatt nodded. "You can hear me?" Cain asked her, definitely freaked out.

"Raw hear Cain, too."
