P and I took advantage of the stellar weather and walked along the lake and then to Lincoln Square. Getting out of the house and off my butt this weekend has done wonders for my mood. I can't even remember why I felt so down earlier this week.

Today we went to Andersonville at the behest of one of my Chicago Walking Tours cards. The information turned out to be woefully out of date. Our recommended locale Urban Epicure belongs to history. I finally finished this book I've been lugging around since January: Under the Volcano by one Malcolm Lowry. It's about a drunk and at least thirty percent of it consists of confusing ramblings of an intellectual gone horribly wrong.
