So there was no knitting yesterday until we left the house! How's that for funny!? We all went out to see the Miracles play, they lost :( but we got to see fabulous fireworks! Okay, so as to avoid Second Sock Syndrome, I cast on (not immediately, but within 12 hours) for my second sock, and yesterday morning I was on my way. Zoomed through the toe box, on through the instep, almost up to the join for the heel and I slip it on to see how it fits. Great! It fit really well and I was loving the fabric. One sock done!
I didn't use all of the first ball of yarn. These socks were made specifically to go with my Crocs, so I stopped when they looked right. Besides, I might make something to go along with them! ( sock! )

I didn't finish my "Secret Pal Yarn Sock" on Sunday like I'd hoped. Or Monday. Here it is so far.
