We have to knit one sock and send the sock with the leftover yarn, pattern and any other "supplies" we feel would be comforting to our giftee also residing in the Hurricane Zone! Saturday we went to the SWFlorida Somethingth Annual Mango Festival. It was great but sweltering. We were going out again that afternoon and had to take showers again! Socks for my sister Tami. She is the most brash, loud, fun, funny, tomboyish Biker Chick I've ever met and I couldn't love her more. Deep down, where no one knows it, she likes purple. And Lime. These socks have her name all over them. Then there's my kitty, Kitty. She love lizards. For dinner. Just kidding! Just for playing with.....

I've finished the first in what I'm sure will be a long line of cascade footies. This size is really all I need out of everyday socks. I'm not a regular tennis shoe wearer, so these fit the bill! Knit on size 2s (I'm buying bamboo 3s today) at 44 stitches, toe up with an afterthought heel.( pink footies )
