it's april, the first bloom of spring shows in the budding branches, and the purple, pink and white carpets of azaleas stretching across the front of my yard. The tulips have already blossomed, and the grass by the shed needs to be mowed. The sky is bright blue, the sun is shining. And it's snowing in Richmond. Truly, anything is possible.

why do they keep talking about 'the world's oldest person' in the news these days? what is it with that? because these poor people are so old that they inevitably kick the bucket within days-weeks-months, and then it's a new person. I can't keep track. and i think its kind of morbid.
