Teddy and I made a Japanese-style dinner. We made inarizushi, spring mix salads with tomato, edamame, and corn with sesame-soy sauce dressing, miso udon soup with veggies and fried tofu sheet, and edamame. We also got pineapple and made shiruko for dessert.

Teddy and I headed out to Phipps the day after Christmas to check out their winter show. As always, Phipps is nice, but we were kind of disappointed cause all they did to change their show was add poinsettias, three trees, and a couple of wreaths and decorations. On December 11, we had an early Christmas song/dinner with Takami and Keiko. Barb and Ted paid for me to have my guitar fixed (which, funny enough, is Japanese! It's a Takamine. My neighbor gave it to me 10 years ago when he started teaching me how to play. Also, I found out it was made on February 16, 1978, and that it was the 61st guitar made ( Read more... )
