IN MY TIME OF DYING - SEASON 2
In the aftermath of the car crash, the surviving Winchesters go to the hospital, where one is stalked by a Reaper while another must consider sacrificing himself to save the others.
I have so much love for this episode. Not only did it pick up right after the big cliffhanger of season 1, the entire episode is full of funny quips, dramatic scenes, and it sets up the season really well. Also, several scenes give you that "Whoa, I didn't even think of that!" reveal.
I excepted the pilot from this list, because it was the series premiere and therefore should be treated differently than a season premiere. But from the choices of In My Time of Dying, The Magnificent Seven (least favorite!!), Lazarus Rising (second place), and Sympathy for the Devil, this was definitely my favorite. Also helps that I love the entire season.
