I realized I didn't give the "holiday post-mortem" so what better place to do it than at work ;-)

Let it rain! Let it rain! Let it rain!
It's been monsooning for almost 24 hrs, and definately varying degrees of "rainy" for about 3 days. This most recent batch of precipitation has been coupled with freezing temperatures over night, causing power outages. What a day! Our goal was simple: Drive from Berlin to Wareham to pick up some Christmas ornaments from my mom, then drive to Lincoln, RI to cut down the Christmas tree we tagged last weekend. Misc. update in no particular order
House- Jim and I picked up some blinds for our bathrooms at Linens N Things (thank you 40% off liquidation). Our two bathrooms both have windows; the upstairs window doesn't show much scandalousness, unless you're changing right in front of it, so we picked up a nice offwhite roman shade to replace the ratty yellowing old skool roll shade. Preface: I am a nerd who scrapbooks (though less frequently than I'd like). I go to scrapbooking weekends away and stamping/card making nights out (tonight is one).
