After dinner Draco and Pansy sat on the sofa in front of the fire enjoying another glass of wine. A bowl of chocolates sat between them. Draco grabbed one wrapped in green foil, and started unwrapping it slowly.
“So, what is the deal between Potter and you?” Pansy asked as she too grabbed a chocolate from the bowl. Hers was wrapped in silver.
“There is nothing going on between Potter and me.” Draco looked down at the bowl, there only chocolates that were left, were wrapped in Gryffindor red tinfoil. Inwardly he shrugged, chocolate was chocolate, and picked up another.
Pansy raised one eyebrow. “Seriously, Draco. You look at him the same way Goyle looks at a pile of pancakes dowsed with butter and honey. You can’t possibly tell me there is nothing going on.”
“Seriously, Panse. There is honestly nothing. I would tell you if I were shagging the Boy-who-Loved. However this is not the case.”
“Would you like too, though?” Pansy asked smirking.
“Of course not! We are colleagues. And I am a professional,” Draco said pretending to be scandalized. “No matter how hot he looks in his Auror robes.”
“Or how hot he looks without them.” They looked at each other and burst out laughing.
