Yesterday I finally made these pot pies that I had been dreaming of for so long. They were absolutely awesome. I got the recipe by doing a google search and landing on this blog. I've uploaded three sonogram pictures into my scrapbook in the Family gallery  here.
You can see how he got annoyed with us and hid his face in the second picture.

We're going to have a boy!
He didn't seem to want to show his face much. He kept flipping over away from the imaging and mostly kept his hand up. But, definitely a boy.

Now we have to pick a boy's name, arg!

The sonographer said that everything looked good, so that was reassuring. :)

It got too late before I started the pot pies last night, so I reluctantly decided to put it off for a day. I did accomplish quite a lot in the kitchen, though, which needed a lot of loving care due to the move-in craziness. It's looking pretty good now. Work has been very difficult ever since the quarter started. We came back to work on Jan 2, and the faculty assistant with whom I'm partnered for back-up support was suddenly out on medical leave. We've gone week to week not certain if she will return. My boss is recommending ( Read more... )

We are getting the keys to our new apartment tomorrow. I'm really anxious to see what it is like inside. Mac loaded the car up with some things tonight so he can take them right in after he picks up the keys. Saturday we will get a rental truck and move as much of our furniture as we can. I guess I'm still on a bit of the hormonal roller coaster. This was a particularly stressful week at work, though, so I think that had a lot to do with it. It was finals week and things were a bit wacky.
