It was nice being at my cousin's wedding on Saturday, having all the relatives ask me what I'm doing with my life, and then getting a TON of positive feedback when explaining the Alaska deal.

Got "the call" today.

I start working in Sitka on May 26th.

I'm tentatively leaving May 18th.

Oh holy crap, I have a lot to do.........!!!!

I'm excited...and NERVOUS!!!

Mom and I went to an early-onset dementia/Alzheimer's support group meeting last night.

It was surreal.

So I (sorta) heard back from the job today. I actually got a cc'ed message from the HR lady to the executive director, letting him know that she has several positions she thinks I'd be perfect for, and also letting him know that I'll be available the end of May if necessary, instead of the end of June...And at the end of the e-mail she said, "I am ( Read more... )
