I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel on this project- the inner layer has been shipped for assembly & finishing, and the outer layer is moving along. All of the fabric pieces are cut and serged, the bezant placements are marked, the godets are stitched to the body pieces, and the linings are as assembled as possible. The ( Read more... )

Almost done with my halloween costume.

Went to a riding clinic saturday, and boy am I sore. It was great, though- I'm starting to get the hang of collection and half-halts and all that good stuff, and got to ride a lovely Arabian mare who was delightful- sweet-tempered, co-orerative, lively but not spazzy.
