Dreadful...good to hear that it wasn't a more serious altercation! On a realted note, I recommend traveling with a baseball bat after midnight. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm sure you can appreciate the aesthetics of a large cudgel. It makes a statement.

Also, congrats on you and Elsabeth...and I hope you have better luck on future late-night walks %_%

Hehe, Elsabeth wanted to hit the guy with her umbrella. I knew a lot of Tae Kwon Do moves i could have done on him, but i wasn't sure what the other guys would do and i knew that it would be a lot better if we just gave them what they wanted. Whenever we did any Hap Ki Do in Tae Kwon Do he told us that if we ever did actually find ourselves in a situation where we're at knife/gunpoint and he's asking for money, just give it to him. You can get money back. Your life, not so much ( ... )

Me too. That could have gone so wrong so many ways, and i thought of all of them while we were waiting for the police to come. I realized i shouldn't be doing that, because i was freaking myself out.

On an entirely separate topic, i like typing with mittens.

Her name is Elsabeth, it's not a typo that there isn't an i.

She's my girlfriend! I'll upload a picture or three, since i got that many off of my camera before it was stolen (thankfully just a couple hours before we went walking because Callie wanted to see them).

We met at Movie Night a couple fridays ago, a week before i came home. I kind of stalked her through Facebook, which she didn't mind at all, and we got together on Sunday for some hot cocoa and quesadilla action at the Hard Times Cafe. We've seen each other every day since. Well, except when i was gone home for the weekend, and when she went home for her brother's birthday.

It's good that you're both okay.

Man, mugged fifteen minutes after you and girl make it offical? That's like something that would happen to me. I hope the logographic necessity isn't spreading.

Haha... well, it didn't ruin my night, which is proof of how awesome the night had been until that point. We just got really lucky as far as not having any (except for one) valuables on us at the time, and that they seemed just as freaked out as we were.

Plus, that has to be like, one of the least successful muggings in history.
