I finally called my insurance company on Monday and found a mental health provider, but my appointment isn’t for a month. At least that gives me time to list out all the things that have been bothering me.

I’m gonna do that here. I do not need a wellness check. I’m coping enough to get by for now.

It’s official, no rads or chemo. My oncologist said there were no signs of disease elsewhere, I am one lucky son of a gun to have caught this aggressive and deadly cancer so early and basically kidney stones saved my life.

Yesterday I had my followup with the pulmonary oncologist.

I pay so much attention to the clock now. How long did I sleep, how long until the next pain pill, how long since I did deep breathing, how much longer can I hold it so I don’t have to get up to go to the bathroom, how long until Ian gets home.

So it’s leiomyosarcoma. This announcement Is not being made on other social media at this time. Margins and lymph nodes were all clean so I shouldn’t need chemo or radiation.

Funny thing tho, that I got a lung cancer not caused by smoking.

My nurse is getting me one last pain pill and a wheelchair and we are outta this bitch!!!

If you ever have a drainage tube in your actual lung know that its removal is approx one zillion times worse than a tube just flopping around in your chest cavity.

But I survived.

This is totally happening. I will not be here forever. Woot!!!

Still slowly but surely improving.
