Do not put statements in the negative form. And don't start sentences with a conjunction. If you reread your work, you will find on rereading that a great deal of repetition can be avoided by rereading and editing. Never use a long words when a diminutive one will do. i've been hooked with terry pratchet since 6th grade. he writes in ironic style--a dry, cynical sort of funny, that takes the fantastical and twists it just that one step further. gah--he's just--amazing. ^-^ a perceptive author, him, who appears to be able to look dispassionately at the ways of mankind as if he were from another wiser and more ( Read more... ) -

this has to be one of the most entertaining examples demonstrating the downward spiral the english language has succumbed to in the 21st century…pretty amusing, i think, anyways, despite the tragedy. hehehe. :3 -
just a thought.
only the heart has a direct pathway to the eyes. a look is enough to transmit the poetry that the tongue may not be able to form. when pop culture provides a romance with metaphorical fireworks and an exuberant soundtrack, it’s merely exhibiting the noise that has no place in the simplicity of emotion ( Read more... )
