Got the first kill of my Army career last night. My M249 SAW gunners laid waste to an entire floor, wasting the insurgent fucker pinning down some Iraqi Police with only a pistol. Occurred to me the other day that I updated my journal after deploying, but with all the hullabaloo with moving and setting up our new lives together, I never bothered to update about my wedding.
