Life is hard
I haven't written here in a very long time. About three days after my last post, My Sweetie (emeritus) decided that he wanted to separate, and we are moving towards divorce. crashing
I've now been waiting almost two months for a psychiatric referral. Our couples therapist pretty much fired us, because we have too many individual issues that need to be addressed before she can work with us as a couple, and I can't seem to bring myself to care enough to contact my individual therapist ( Read more... ) -

So, we've been working through a complete budget overhaul, trying to figure out why the account was still being overdrawn, and forming a plan to pay down our (considerable) consumer debt. Outdoor adventures and mistaken impressions
I am one of the advisors for my church's youth group. We have a very small group, between 2 and 4 youth, ages 12 to 14, and two adult advisors. Adulthood and Birthdays

Multitasking
This working two jobs thing is really not so bad.
Granted, I'm really mostly only working one job, the scheduled one at the grocery store, but I get the occasional day or half-day, or couple days of subbing to fill in the chinks, and it's working out quite nicely.

The Art of Asking
Trekkie loaned me an iPod that was loaded with the audiobook of Amanda Palmer's The Art of Asking. Since I live in a suburb, work in a rural school district, and run in and out of the city on a regular basis, I have a lot of driving time, so that's when I have mostly been listening to it. Crawling back up
So, after two days of senseless panicking, I had what was probably a fairly obvious idea.
