One of the things I'm still subscribed to is a word of the day feed. It's a standard, one word posted every day around midnight. It's kinda sad how many of those in a row there are these days. Poor Livejournal. -
Weight Loss Goal
Today I finally hit my first major weight loss goal of getting under 200lbs. I have been over that since some time in high school. Not sure exactly when but I believe around junior year. I looked out the window and it was snowing big beautiful flakes so I decided to go out and enjoy it for a few minutes before it stops. In the time it took me to put on a sweatshirt, grab my keys, and get outside it turned to rain. Boooo -
Siddhartha
For those who may not remember (hah), I read a lot in high school. Not only did I read all of the assigned class reading (at least for English and a lot of the other class's readings) I read one to five books a month outside of school. As I was driving home from work today I was coming up to an intersection and a truck made an illegal U turn in front of me. I just kinda went around him, since I had a green arrow, and thought to myself "dumb-ass, read the signs, no u-turn there" and went along my merry way. The chills
I have this thing where I get chills at a really amazing points in songs and movies and really any media. Sometimes I get false positives where I don't really care, but I've been noticing that even if I'm not personally interested in this amazing or special moment, I get chills if other people seem to be moved. Space Jam
Oh Space Jam. Totally my favorite movie for most of middle school. Not quite as funny anymore but still appreciable for nostalgia purposes.
