Colds a killer when it comes to cramps... I just learned that getting my first leg cramp at mile 14 in yesterdays Long Beach Marathon, and then three other area cramps by mile 18 - and I've never cramped up running before. The trick is to keep your muscles warm.

All said, I still managed a PR (probably due to a sucky time in SF!)... after mile 18 it was run a little, walk a lot... all the way to the finish line!

i know i won't be running any fulls until i can break 2:00. Not sure if I can last 5 hours straight!

I don't think I'll ever run sub-2 in the half... my best is around 2:15.

I should've kept up with with my calf raises. Maybe I wouldn't have had those problems, lol.
