I'm pretty new to the whole taking care of my own hair thing and I was wondering what are all the different techniques for wearing a scarf at night. Basically, what I want to know is, is it alright to wear a scarf without all that wrapping of the hair around your head? And if so, how do you do it?

I currently have my hair in kinky twists and plan to take them out by the end of the month (it's been two months and I feel like I need a change)

Is $200 for a full head weave too much? Plus you have to buy your own human hair, and I have no idea how much that runs :/

I've never had weave in my hair before, but my boyfriend is graduating from basic and I wanna look glamorous since we haven't seen/talked to each other in a few months :P

I'm thinking about getting braids while I take a break from relaxing. I would like to get something current (according to my sister crochet braids are old) and not having a lot of hair involved (I don't want a ton of hair on my head).I also want something that will last for a few months. Any ideas?

Lately my hair has been thinning/breaking a lot.  It went from almost collar bone length to barely shoulder length and I have no idea why. I get relaxers about every 8 weeks.
