Well, sometime in the future, maybe two weeks or so, they'll set it up so comments on locked entries can't be crossposted. Ahh, at least my subconscious is erudite.
This morning's Lovecraftian/marine invert/Victorian nightmare(luckily a rather rare sort of occurrence) included the line "Oh, God. You're...suppurating." delivered quite in character and in exactly the tone of horror mixed with medical detachment one would expect ( Read more... ) -

Actually, they're pressors rather than tractors, but still an impressive improvement on the existing optical tweezers.
Could be particularly useful for nanofactories.

Oh, that's sure to work.
Well, it looks like the response to LJ users asking for Live-Twit-Face to be clarified/fixed/removed is going to be let's sweep it under the rug and hope no one notices.This isn't the fault of the staff member - they're doing what they have to in order to keep their job. A surprisingly pleasant feeling.
My money now goes to Dreamwidth's pockets, not those of SUP. One thing I do echo from javagoth's post - if you do move and want it to be successful, pay for the account if at all possible. Dreamwidth is small, which is why it can be so responsive to user concerns. However, supporting this sort of growth:

Okay, I went ahead and started one, with all of the fun stuff that the new owners are doing. Anyone that's moved there already, I'm also blackavar there.What are the current thoughts on imports?
