Tacoma Aroma

What went down at HIMSS (Apr. 6-7)
Health Information Management Systems Society, the annual conference is part trade-show, part education, part schmoozing. This is the first time I went. Epic is close to Chicago, so it made practical sense this year to send bus loads of cheery, bright-eyed kids (I'm sure that's what we looked like, anyway) to the conference. Some recipes:
Fluffy silver dollar pancakes - 4 eggs, 2 c sour cream, and 1/4 c flour. I have to try these!
Flapjacks (old fashioned) - this uses almost as much butter as my waffle recipe. And then it says to server with MORE butter and REAL MAPLE SYRUP.

Wow! A lot of plans came together recently.
4/6 - 4/7 : HiMSS conference (staying overnight in Chicago with a buddy!)
4/11 - 4/12 : Easter holiday in Ill.
5/4 - 5/7 : Post-live trip to Tacoma, Washington
6/4 - 6/17 : China trip with Windiana Concert Band -
HiMSS
I will be attending the HiMSS Conference in Chicago next week. It is at McCormick Place. I will attend as a learner on Monday and Tuesday, April 6 and 7 (unless plans change.)
