I see that over the last year I managed to make a total of six posts, of which about half were just pictures!  Maybe this year I will be able to do better?  Hmm, let's see what happens.

H is currently weening himself off of afternoon sleeps. This afternoon despite insisting he was not tired and did not need a sleep we found him like this after telling him to play quietly in his room for a few minutes.

A beautiful deep blue sky framed the obelisk of white limestone as I made the momentous decision to take my thermal top off and climb in my t-shirt - in JANUARY!  Sometimes you do get the right day for a climbing pass and today was the day and with a bit of local knowledge we'd found warm sun kissed rock and conditions more akin to a summer evening ( Read more... )
