The parts have shipped. Three business day shipping on all items...I expect I'll be waiting until Tuesday, with tomorrow being a holiday. Now I just need to round up an extra S-Video cable, and a 1/8" to RCA patch cable.

Finally, a project I'm looking forward to. The wife's machine, used as little as it is, will soon undergo major elective surgery. It will go from being used once or twice a month, to pretty much nightly during the week. I'm speechless. My cable connection was down after work today. I'd made a later than normal payment yesterday, so I figured they'd turned me off. I was right. Replace starter and change oil in the Saturn - Done.

Time spent (including one trip to the store to return
the faulty starter and obtain oil): 1.5 hours, tops

Money saved = $100-$140

I honestly felt the starter was easier to replace than the oil filter.
I had it done in less than 45 minutes.

For my next trick, I'll spend 4 hours gaming.
