I've been interested in making necklaces for a while, but didn't have much inspiration and really didn't think I'd make anything I'd like. I started gathering stuff together and finally finished my first a few days ago! I'm actually pretty proud of it.

I intentionally left my book at home today so I'd finally get a good few reads in on my Kindle; to really try it out. I feel like a book traitor because I actually like it! You can look words up right on the thing, it's light and thin as heck yet holds tons of books, and it doesn't dry my fingers out ( Read more... )

I've had a really nice day today. Jeremy is in town (2 hours away, and actually where my mom lives, but still closer than usual), so I got to hang out with him and his adorable new girlfriend.
