So I wanted to write about something positive-not the surgery. Rowan got accepted(they were only taking 5-6 kids) to the New City School. I don't know it's exact address, but it's an old Catholic school on 13th Ave NE, right accross the street from 212 pottery, down a block from Erte. 3 blocks from my mom(She's on 4th). So Rowan and I went to the opening of the downtown Mpls. library on Sat. It's nice, especially the teen room. Apparently, it will be the first and last time I can see it, 'cuz unless you're a teen, or with one you can't go in there. Mothers day really didn't mean all that much to me until I became one. Then it became verry important! Anyhew, Rowan came home with a little book that all the kids participated in at her preschool. So I haven't posted in like, forever. Part of it is me and my laziness. Part of it is I now have a toddler who LOVES the computer. She learned how to mouse and drag n click in 3 hours, so she wants to be on Noggin and PBS Kids all the time. Luckily she hasn't found out about video games yet- it's all over then. I just got back from Seattle on Tuesday evening. Mojocatt and Rowan were waiting at the baggage claim, and when she saw me, she ran over to me, stood in front of me and just grinned. I had a mostly swell Mothers Day. I cleaned up more than my share of poop and cat puke, though. That never ends, even on my one day a year. Sometimes it still hits me:I'm a Mom!
