Maybe I'm just a horrible prick of a person (maybe?) but why is a bunch of miners trapped in a mine such a big deal? I'm sure it's a big deal where it's happeneing, like local news. But why is it making national news?

Took a lot of trips this week. Went to tahoe/scramento/reno for christmas with jason, and then took a trip to joshua tree with Jenny and stayed out in the middle of nowhere in a shack, drinking whiskey and listening to hank williams.
