Okay, normally, if I got a C in any class, I would be severely disappointed in myself. Mediocrity is not acceptable! Next semester will be different! I will get at least a B in that class, damn it!

I spent the weekend holed up in my apartment catching up on things that I haven’t been able to do because of school. The Chicago City Council today approved an ordinance that bans smoking in virtually all public places in the city, but gives restaurant bars and taverns 2 ½ years to come into compliance.
