Recently, I've felt like I've hit a plateau in my dancing. I don't feel like I'm getting better just social dancing or really learning very much. I'm not terribly confident about my skills as a dance teacher yet, but tonight was definitely a big change. I'm teaching tango this month at my Thursday night classes and I haven't had much luck getting people to show up. The first week, no one showed up at all. The next week, I only got one person. So, I've just rediscovered the joy of Final Fantasy VIII, and, in particular, the FMV dance scene. They have some interesting movements to the music and I'm thinking that I'd like to use the dancing that you can see to reconstruct a similar dance ( Read more... )
