Well baby twins, you are getting born tomorrow! I wasn’t expecting you to come quite so soon, but baby girl, your cord is struggling and you aren’t growing much in there, so it will be better if you are out where you can thrive.

I was told today that I will be delivering the twins at 34 weeks. That’s 17 days from now. My anxiety is setting in. I just want to be on the other side of things, holding them safe and healthy in my arms.

Baby girl. You are measuring small. You have extra fluid, a VSD and your heart is large in your chest. I’ve started seeing MFM to monitor your growth. I’ll have genetic testing next week to rule out any genetic problems. I love you so much just the way you are. I just want you to be ok.

Why when I look back on being younger do I only remember simpler lighter times?

Last week we went to a private 4D ultrasound place and confirmed that baby A is a girl. We will be having one boy and one girl! What a surprise grand finale this will be.

I’ve been awake since 4am. I’m excited/nervous because in a few hours we are going to my 14 week ultrasound where we might find out the genders of these babies. I just want them to be growing and healthy. My belly is already as big as it is when I’m 30 something weeks with a single baby.

So we found out at our 7 week ultrasound that we are having twins!! We were so shocked l. I was so scared we weren’t even going to see one baby. But two!! I’m 11 weeks now and still feeling pretty nauseous every day. I won’t go back in to the doctor for 3 weeks but I should be able to find out the genders when we go.

I’m almost 7 weeks at this point. I’ve been nauseous since about 5.5 weeks. It’s hard to feel like doing anything, especially parent and I think that is really frustrating for Daniel. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do though.
