Today I called the people at the O'Neill and they were kind enough to tell me I start next week on Tuesday. I just saw the first Fred and ginger movie Flying Down to Rio. It was really bad. They tried to say that if you strap a girl down to the wing of a plane, the only thing that will move is her hair, and she won't die. So I got all my grades and Phutt gave me an A. This is not so shocking, but somewhat shocking in that I handed in an un-edited project that wasn't very good. However, I argue this is an instance where sexism is working in my favor, and I am fully okay with that. I pass at life.

So for my film, for the finale, I want two of me to do ten seconds from the Babbit and the Bromide act from the Ziegfeld follies. I will give credit to Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire for their inspiration, but then I want them interuppted by another me who is going to start to do all the choreography from my version of Bless the Lord from the Rock ( Read more... )

After watching the Tony Awards, I'm starting to really understand why people hate musical theater and Broadway so much. That award show is just an embarressment. The performances are supposed to be exciting, but the Chorus Line opening was just bad.
