I just spent the last week in DC working on my Navy consulting job. When I'm there, I work 12-14 hour days (much like I did when I was in the Navy...), but the great part is I get to parachute out of there and come back to normalcy, or what passes for it. Well, the water system at our cabin on Osgood Pond stopped working. It just wouldn't draw water. Must be frozen...where? Discovered that the crafty guy we bought this cabin from had a whole system for thawing out the intake...I just had to be smart enough to figure it out! To make a long story short, I did! Today I skied into Fish Pond with Jack and Pete. The snow is getting really FAST. It's glorious on the flats...just push along at amazing speed...but treacherous on the downhills! OK, a question for you. How do I reduce the size of a stored picture to make it fit onto this site? Where do you guys get all those pics you use? If from a digital camera download, how do you make the file small enough to upload to livejournal?
