Had time to survey this article :  Meet the Cullens: Family, Romance, and Female Agency in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Twilight   by Kirsten Stevens. It's an analysis made from a feminist POV and it brings fresh readings of major themes in the verse. Very interesting. If you're allergic to anything Twilight, just skip over these parts in the
